The Prayer Shawl Ministry begins with the knitter praying for the recipient. The intentions are continued throughout the creation of the shawl. Upon completion, a final blessing is offered before the shawl is distributed to those who are ill, in the hospital or those with any loss or other needs. Shawls are typically delivered in bags decorated by our Sunday School children. The Prayer Shawl Ministry Group meets on the 4th Saturday each month (September through May) at 10:00 a.m. Contact: Nancy Abbott 753-4502 or firstname.lastname@example.org
