The Altar Guild

The Altar Guild is made up of teams of two which rotate each week. The altar guild prepares the altar for worship and is responsible for all the sacramental ministries of the parish. Our organ is a Johannus Ecclesia T-270, two-manual, organ.  It has the latest 9-channel digital audio platform. The console looks similar to the old one, but it has wooden core keyboards -- Ebony Naturals, Cherry wood sharps.  It also has the "Ultimate Voice Package" making it have the tonal resources of a 40 stop, 45 rank pipe organ.

Lay Eucharistic Ministers

LEM’s are licensed by the Bishop of the Diocese of Central Florida to serve Communion at the altar and to assist the priest. The LEM’s are trained by the Rector and/or the verger. Please contact the church office at 352-347-6422 or email church@stmarysbelleview.org

Acolytes

Acolytes are those who assist the priest at the altar in all liturgical service. St. Mary’s acolytes serve as crucifer, torch bearers and banner carriers. Training for the acolytes is done by the Rector and or the verger. The acolytes attend an annual acolyte event at the Diocesan Cathedral each year where they join with acolytes throughout the entire diocese. Contact: Carol Hill 629-9796 or cah@djcocpa.com

Ushers

The usher is typically the first impression people get as they enter worship. Whether greeting a visitor or a member, ushers set the tone for a positive worship experience. Ushers are scheduled in pairs for each service on Sunday mornings. The monthly schedule of ushers is posted in the Newsletter along with the calendar. Contact: Joan Golden 753-9282 or gigglentc@aol.com for 8:00 service and contact the church office 347-6488 for 10:30 service.
